• HOW TO WEAR YOUR KATLANTA SHAWL

The trick to wearing your KATLANTA SHAWL is simply to play, and let the simple design do the work for you. The loosely woven cotton and silk blend hangs lightly and effortlessly however you choose to style it.  Just remember to change the position of the V neckline for different looks, as shown in the pictures here (scroll down to see these different styles). But above all – be creative, experiment, and enjoy.

Throw on over jeans and a tank top to add some colour to your casual look, or pair with a dress for eveningwear. In winter, wear with boots over chunky knits, and in summer as a beach cover over your swimsuit.

  • THE OFF THE SHOULDER LOOK

Position the V point of the neckline so that it sits on the shoulder. The tassels will hang down to a point at the side, with the ombré tones displayed in front and back. The neckline forms a gentle cowl which can be worn loosely in front or gently pulled close to the throat. This look is casual and effortlessly elegant.

  • THE KATLANTA PONCHO

Place the V in the middle so that the tassels hang in a square at the front for this boho-chic look. This style also works well in winter over a fitted jersey or polo neck, paired with a chunky scarf, mitts and boots.

  • THE SHOULDER SCARF

With the V in the centre you can pull the tasseled ends up from underneath, tucking through the neckline so that the ends hang over the point of the V. This simple and elegant look keeps the arms free while gently covering the shoulders and upper back.

    THE PASHMINA LOOK

Again, starting with the V in the centre you can pull the two sides up and over the shoulders, so that the length of the shawl falls down the front in a classic and timeless pashmina style.

  • THE CLASSIC
    COWL-NECK

For this look, bring the V to the back, so that it makes a point at the nape of your neck or between your shoulder blades. The tassels and the length of the shawl hang down your back, while the front makes a cowl-neck that can be adjusted to either hang loosely on the chest.

  • THE CLASSIC COWL-NECK

Or sit the shawl close to the throat. This look is soft, sophisticated and can be worn for both casual and formal occasions.

Keeping the V to the back, flip one or both corners of the shawl up over the shoulder to change the look.

  • THE ONE-SHOULDER LOOK

Put one arm through the neckline of the shawl, with the V underneath and the seam running down the ribcage. Elegant over a strapless top or dress.

  • THE KATLANTA SCARF

Wear your KATLANTA SHAWL as a scarf in two different ways. The first way, as shown bottom-right, is to put your head through the neckline with the V in the middle and the shawl pulled forward down the front. Twist all the fabric together, and tuck the end of the coil behind your neck.

The second way is to take the shawl off and, holding the neckline in one hand, put the length of the shawl around your neck and thread the tasseled end through the neckline.

  • THE KATLANTA HOOD

Perfect for windy afternoons or to wear with a jacket. With the V in the front in the poncho style, simply lift the back of the neckline up over the the hair. The tassels will hang in a square at the front. Take one or both corners over the shoulder on the opposite side to close the hood in the centre.
